Italy were the winners of the 2006 soccer cup.The Italian national soccer team is controlled by the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC) and represents Italy in international soccer competition. They are the current World Champions, having won the 2006 FIFA World Cup.Italy is among the top teams in international football and the second most successful national team having won four World Cups (1934, 1938, 1982, 2006), just one fewer than Brazil. To this tally they can add one European championship (1968), two Central European International Cup and one Olympic Gold Medal (1936).

At the beginning of the game France had the lead 1-0 but Italy came back in the 2nd half. Unfortunately France lost 1 of their best player Zidane. After that they stayed in a tie 1-1. So they had to go to penalties. Italy made 5 penalties in. France made only 3. My opinion I thought France deserved to win. But Italy were the champs for 2006 World Cup.

This might be a very wild thing, but they like to play as much as men do. Soccer is a wide national sport. Like mens soccer teams, women also have teams around the world. The Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) is a national amateur women's soccer league in the United States. The WPSL started as the Western Division of the USISL's W-League, breaking away in 1998. Brazil is the best team right now in the soccer industry. They have won many world cups.The Brazil national soccer team is managed by the CBF and represents Brazil in international football competitions. They are the most successful national football team in the history of the World Cup, with five championships (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, 2002). A common quip about football is: "The English invented it, the Brazilians perfected it." ^[2] Currently ranked number two by FIFA, Brazil is consistently among the strongest football nations in the world and is the only team to have played in every World Cup. Brazil infact is also my favorite team. I think its the best team ever.

My Experience With Soccer

One day I was watching soccer in TV so I thought to my self and said I should try out for a soccer team. So the next week I went I went to the park that the team practiced on. I went to the trainer and he gave me a date to go try out. So when the date came, i went to the park and tried out for the team. The papers would be sent to my crib. So i waited until that day. So 1 day I came home from skool, and I found the letter on my table. So I opened it up and I read it and it said I was accepted. So it told me to go to practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So I went and it was better than I thought. The uniform was soft and comfortable.
In my first game I scored the winning goal. I was the MVP even though it was my first game. I was happy and i felt special. Everyone gave me a pound and I became friends with everyone in the team. I was forward after i made that goal. Forward means that I play in the front of the field so i can make more goals from the front.

Soccer is one of America's most watched and played sport. Soccer is my favorite sport i like it because its a very complex sport and how they have to kick the ball into the goal. Which the people get exited and scream out GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

They also have rules:
1. No using hands, except for goalie. 2. No pushing or shoving other players. 3. No talking rudely to the referee, or other players. 4. No tugging on bottom of shirts.
5. You have to have somebody in-between you and the other goalie if someone is going to pass the ball to you (offside).
6. Only eleven people on the field at one time.
7. Your shirt has to be tucked in your shorts at all times.
8. You are not allowed to push or trip other people on purpose.
9. No tackling the goalie, if he/she has the ball.

Like football they also got gear:
1. Soccer Cleats = so you don't slip as easily and don't destroy the ball
2.Shin Guard= to guard your shins
3.Jersey = to show which team you are on
4. Soccer Socks = to cover the shin guards
5. Soccer Ball= to play with
6.Goalie Gloves = if you are the goalie you need them to get a better grip on the ball.

Well soccer is my favorite game and i would like to inform you about this sport.Have you ever wonder how soccer / football games get into our life? When and where is the origin of this game from? Why is it so many peoples in the world crazy about this game? Almost every culture has reference to the history of soccer.

The origin of football / soccer can be found in every corner of geography and history. The Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Ancient Greek, Persian, Viking, and many more played a ball game long before our era. The Chinese played "football" games date as far back as 3000 years ago. The Ancient Greeks and the Roman used football games to sharpen warriors for battle. In south and central a a game called "Tlatchi" once flourished.i dont know why they called it that but soccer is very cool and fun.
